Discover the restorative power of nature with a free introductory Forest Therapy experience at Conner Prairie on Fridays! Guided by a certified forest therapy guide, these mini-sessions invite you to slow down, engage your senses, and reconnect with the natural worldall on Indianas first and only certified Forest Therapy trail. Experience a peaceful escape and get a glimpse of the full Forest Therapy program, designed to promote mindfulness and well-being.
Audience: This program is for anyone who enjoys slow, mindful, and intentional time spent in nature. All ages are welcome!
Access considerations: Meet your guide for this program near the tram turnaround behind the Museum Experience Center. This out-and-back stroll will take place on a mix of crushed gravel, wooden steps, and grass surfaces. From the Museum Experience Center, we will stroll along a wide, crushed-gravel path. We will descend wooden steps next to the Conner House and down a grassy hill. Benches are located near the Conner House. This is a rain or shine program; please dress accordingly and bring comfort items as needed (i.e. sunblock, hat, water) Restrooms are available in the Museum Experience Center and include accessible stalls. There may be an option to navigate a paved trail to access this program.
