Day of the Dead is a colorful cultural celebration of life and creativity.
This festive Mexican holiday with ancient roots honors and celebrates the memory of friends and family members who have passed away. Our version amplifies the artistic aspects of Day of the Dead to appeal to the young and young at heart.
Special this Year: a Texy Mexy Pop-up Shop!  If you’ve missed Downtown Noblesville’s favorite Mexican restaurant, you are in luck!  Texy Mexy will have a variety of favorite foods and drinks on the Noblesville Creates campus during the Day of the Dead Celebration!

Day of the Dead is a colorful cultural celebration of life and creativity. This festive Mexican holiday with ancient roots honors and celebrates the memory of friends and family members who have passed away. Our celebration amplifies the artistic aspects of Day of the Dead to appeal to the young and young at heart.

This year’s highlights include:

  • A Texy Mexy Pop-Up Shop with authentic Mexican food and drink
  • An Artist Market with authentic local Mexican artists
    • Yesenia Limon
    • Irma Arteaga
    • Ken Skelton
    • Esperanza Alonzo
    • Martha Alonzo
  • Music with the ever popular El Mariachi Solo
  • Face painting
  • Viewing of our arts ofrenda
  • The Spooky Shows by The Cardinal at HCAA (laugh and learn about the start of Spiritualism
  • Costumes are highly encouraged
  • Plus hands-on craft activities with talented artists & artisans:
    • You can make pinatas with Ariadna
    • You can make catrinas with Irma Arteaga

Families will explore Mexican art and culture by learning about the holiday’s traditions, participating in crafts (some free, some cost) and art making, and enjoying traditional treats! Expect to get hands-on while enjoying food, music, face painting, and more with loved ones. Costumes are highly encouraged! Our celebration will put an artsy spin on these popular traditions. Plus – get dinner onsite from Texy Mexy.
