The healing power of creating is soothing to the soul and opens our hearts and minds to others.

Art is an important tool that many of turn to to process our emotions, explore our fears, and rediscover our strengths. Artists are sharing the projects that helped them make it through a hard time, express the importance of the arts, or that have helped uplift someone they care about.

FOUR DAY RAY: Hamilton County Artists’ Association
April 4-June 28

The Hamilton County Artists’ Association (HCAA) will be hosting a variety of work from several of their artist members from April through June. Enjoy local fine art as you dine, such as landscapes, portraiture, still lifes, and more!

Four Day Ray Brewing, located at 11671 Lantern Road in Fishers, Sunday and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00.

NOBLESVILLE CITY HALL: “Art in Bloom” Community Exhibit

In celebration of spring and the annual Indiana Peony Festival on May 17th, Noblesville City Hall is blossoming with blooms of art!

STEPHENSON SHOWCASE: “Beyond Vision: Beauty in Reality and Imagination” by Casey Williams

The healing power of art is extending into the Stephenson House this May with the exhibit, In the Making: An Interactive Experience of Wellness Through Art! Copper Z Creative Wellness has curated five activities that instruct guests on how to slow down, take a breath, and experience art differently.

MEYER NAJEM SHOWCASE: “Senses in Nature” by Shelley Feeney

It can be difficult to slow down when life seems to move faster every year. With a fast-filling calendar it often feels like there is no time to stop and smell the roses. We come out of these winter months hustling and bustling as our environment likewise blooms. Artist Shelley Feeney finds peace when she slows down and savors small moments outdoors. Light through trees, shadows dancing on the ground, and more are celebrated in her upcoming showcase exhibit, Senses in Nature.
