31 Aug Creative Economy Pitch Night Will Show How the Arts Can Shape Indiana’s Future Success
Noblesville Creates is presenting a new, inspiring event focused on economic and business development. Creative Economy Pitch Night is designed to fall somewhere between Shark Tank and a TED Talk, with lots of energy, excitement and inspiration. A slate of Creative Entrepreneurs will present big ideas for how the arts can drive economic success, community development, and Hoosier Pride in Central Indiana and beyond.
The event will take place at Conner Prairie on September 22nd from 6-9 pm and will serve at Noblesville Creates’ primary fundraiser of the year.
This year’s Creative Entrepreneur Presenters will be:
- Cory Constantine
- Ros Demaree, Indiana Artisan
- Rachel Kavathe
- Cairo Morada
- Nica Post
- Eric Thornbury
- Marianne and Caroline Vogt
- Katina Washington
These creative thinkers, who represent a broad spectrum of the Creative Economy, will each give short presentations sharing their visions and expertise. Topics will range from ways to include artists in planning and development, public art ideas, concepts for spaces needed in Hamilton County, big ideas for place-defining events and initiatives, and celebration of Hamilton County’s arts identity! Four ‘celebrity’ Judges – recognized leaders in our region – will select a winner, who will receive a cash prize, as well as valuable professional services donated to the event. The audience will also have a chance to weigh in by casting votes for their favorite presenters using our event software.
The evening will also include recognition of leadership in the Arts and Culture sector, including the presentation of the annual Noblesville Creates Awards.
