We work with local artists to offer classes to adults, children, novices, hobbyists, experts — anyone interested in spending a little time investing in their own creativity. See below for our current list of classes on campus. We are also currently looking for additional teachers; look below for more information and an interest form.

Parking

On-street parking is available around Noblesville Creates on 8th. Do NOT park in the Purple Lot during week day business hours.  However, if you are having trouble finding an available spot, we highly suggest parking in the Levinson Garage on Maple Street between 8th and 9th Street at: 868 Maple Ave, Noblesville, IN 46060.

Caravan Classes

6/9-6/13: Miniatures & Story Telling Camp- Create a Miniature scene that tells a story of its own. Learn story development while creating tiny things for a tiny world.

6/16-6/19: Art Camp World Travel Edition- Travel the world through art. Ages 6-12 will learn about world cultures, create an art journal and fill it with activities and things they learn.

6/23-27: Art & Nature Camp- For ages 6-12 Campers will explore nature by taking excursions in town and on the river walk area.



Kiln Creations

Sundays: Try It Wheel Class- We have eight wheels and have opened up our program for semiprivate classes.  These are one-time classes so if you can’t commit to the 4 or 6 week course, this gets your hands dirty and your heart full! 

Mondays: Eight Week Wheel Class- Did you know wheel throwing is one of the oldest crafts? Get your hands dirty the ancient way and join our eight-week wheel class. This is an hour and a half long class that expands your clay knowledge.

Tuesdays: Children’s Four Week Wheel Class- Did you know wheel throwing is one of the oldest crafts? Get your hands dirty the ancient way and join our four-week wheel class. This is an hour-long class that expands your clay knowledge.

Thursdays: Four Week Wheel Class- Did you know wheel throwing is one of the oldest crafts? Get your hands dirty the ancient way and join our four-week wheel class. This is an hour and a half long class that expands your clay knowledge.

6/6 & 6/21: Couples’ Wheel Class-  We’re having a couples’ clay class for a great couples’ price. For $90, you are your partner, friend, or that special someone you’ve always wanted to take a class with can come in a get messy in the clay with us! Our instructor will walk you through throwing on the wheel. Create a small bowl in this beginner’s class. Or not because clay is difficult. Either way, you’ll have fun!

6/7: Starry Night on Stoneware- Pick from our stoneware collection- a mug, bowl, birdfeeder, vase, platter or more-and paint along! We’re tracing the pattern on to your choice of stoneware vessel and painting step by step. 

6/8: Henna Inspired Plate or Bowl- Explore the elegance of henna designs on pottery! In this class, you can choose to paint either a ceramic salad plate or a bowl, transforming it with intricate, henna-inspired patterns.

6/13: Sip Happens. Mocktail Edition.- Join us for an evening of creativity and color—no alcohol, just good vibes! Sip on refreshing, handcrafted mocktails made by you while you paint your own pottery masterpiece. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just here for the fun, it’s the perfect night to unwind, get inspired, and make something beautiful.

6/14: Ladies Night!- Join us for fun, chocolate and drinks! We will have chocolate delights, drinks and all the pottery you can stand to paint. Get creative with your friends and join us for our monthly Ladies’ Night Out! Relax and enjoy spending quality time with your gal pals while having fun painting pottery. It is fun and easy for all abilities. 

6/15: Black Cat Painting Lesson- Join us for a creative and fun pottery painting experience where you’ll learn the art of sgraffito! In this class, you’ll paint your very own cat-themed plate, just like the beautiful samples shown.

6/21: Studio Ghibli Night- Get SPIRITED AWAY with us as we paint Studio Ghibli themed pottery pieces! We’ll enjoy my NEIGHBOR TOTORO’s favorite treats while we paint our MOVING CASTLE.  Costumes, stuffies and painters alike are welcome to our party.  

6/27 & 6/28: Glass Blown Ornaments- We are getting hot with glass and creating these great ornaments for all your holiday celebrations. Perfect for hostess gifts, stocking stuffers or decor! 

Hamilton County Artists' Association

6/7: Tintype Portrait Day- A tintype is a one-of-a-kind photograph created using the historic wet plate collodion process. Unlike modern digital photography, this technique requires the plate to be coated, sensitized, exposed, and developed within minutes—all before it dries. The result? A rich, silvery, and slightly otherworldly image that will last for generations.

6/13 to 6/15: Poetic Landscapes with Farley Lewis- This workshop covers how to develop compelling compositions, learning to see and use values to lead the viewer’s eye, keys to keeping your colors fresh, beautiful and harmonious, bold brushwork and much more. For acrylic and oil painters of all levels. Each day begins with a talk and demo that illustrates the topics covered, then artists work on their own paintings with plenty of one on one instruction and encouragement. 

6/14: Darkroom Basics- New to the darkroom? Haven’t printed in years? This laid-back, hands-on session is for anyone curious about traditional black & white printing—whether you’re starting fresh or dusting off old skills. There are no formal lessons, just a chance to participate in the process, ask questions, and watch images come to life. Bring your own B&W negatives if you have them, or just come ready to explore the magic of the darkroom!

6/15 & 6/19: Open Studio- A relaxed informal evening to create, learn, and connect with fellow artists.

6/21: Beginning Bookmaking- In this workshop, you will learn how to use the basic tools of bookmaking, how to measure/tear paper, create colorful book covers using handmade papers, and assemble your books. Participants will create an accordion-style book and a pamphlet-style book to take home along with their own bookmaking kit.

Gal's Guide Library

Sadly, this will be the last month of operation in Indiana for the Gal’s Guide Library.  Wish them well on their journey to Minnesota!

Wednesdays: Janet’s Knit Help Wednesday- Need help with a project? Bring your project and a pattern. Want to learn new ideas, techniques, and break bad habits. Class will also do projects with education.

6/17: Mary’s Continuing Studies in Machine Quilting- This class is a detailed technique instruction focused on ONE or TWO techniques. Students are required to have completed the Free Motion Machine Quilting I and II classes. Students will further their skills by attending this four-hour class approximately once a month.

6/18: Kayla’s Make & Go Washcloth- Come crochet with me! Learn a fun new stitch that you can use to make a blanket or scarf. We will be learning the Linen Stitch or a Single Crochet- your choice. If you don’t know how to crochet – that’s ok! I can also show you single crochet so you can learn the basics. 

6/20: Jan’s Cartonnage Caddy Organizer- Come experience the art – and joy – of cartonnage, the French art of box making. Cartonnage is a traditional method of creating amazing boxes and other projects with simple materials (just fabric, chipboard, and glue). Turn gorgeous fabrics into unique, no-sew gifts that are beautiful and functional Bring yourself, your creativity and 2 coordinating fabrics and you will leave the class with a completed Caddy Organizer, ready to use or give as a treasured gift. Everything else will be provided including DIY kits, tools and materials.

6/21: Kayla’s Beginning Amigurumi Snowball- I know that a snowball isn’t a very exciting thing to make, but it is a perfect way to learn the art of Amigurumi! You will learn the magic circle, which is CRUCIAL for crocheting in this manner: as well as how to increase and decrease in a round.

6/21: Capi’s Sparkle Society Stitch Series- Sarah Maxwell, creator of Designs by Sarah J has created this skill building program for all quilters.  Join our shop manager, Capi Saxton as each month in our JOY classroom she will work with students to create a new quilting project.

6/25: Jessica’s Long Arm Free Motion Practice- Free motion quilting is a skill that improves with practice.  Join Jessica for this guided practice time.  Beginners and more advanced students are welcome.  Students will share the Always in Stitches HandiQuilter longarm to practice quilting.

6/28: Jamie’s Junk Journal- Join Jamie and learn to make a fabric covered journal and how to insert signatures and embellish your journal pages with ephemera.

En Pointe Indiana Ballet

En Pointe Indiana Ballet is a premier ballet school based in Noblesville, Indiana. They welcome dancers ages 3 to 22, beginner to pre-professional. They offer the highest level of instruction including ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, pas de deux, jazz, hip hop, acro, modern, contemporary, tap and more. This Could be You!

Noblesville Creates is looking for instructors to teach a variety of art classes. Disciplines include: painting, drawing, theatre, sculpting, quilting, photography, and more. Teaching at Noblesville Creates is easy. We can provide you a location, marketing, supplies, registration management, and can even help you develop your curriculum. Teachers receive 80% of the tuition fees. Classes can range from weekly, monthly, an hour, a couple of hours, and anything in between. Noblesville Creates is looking for instructors for two specific weekly classes.  The days and times can be negotiated.  Curriculum discussions can be had with Noblesville Creates staff. 

Teen & Tween Drawing

The Teen & Tween Drawing class provides a safe and inspiring place for young artists to increase their drawing  skills. The teacher will provide exercises and practice prompts to help 10 to 18 year olds develop their drawing skills.  This class is currently Mondays  from 4:45 to 5:45, but these dates can be moved. Classes typically run quarterly, and we are asking our instructors to commit to 10-12 classes for the quarter series.The class cost has been $15 per session with 80% of the fees going to the instructor, but the fee can be discussed.

Adult Drawing Class

The Adult Drawing class provides a safe and inspiring place for artists of all abilities to increase their drawing  skills. The teacher will provide advice, inspiration, and technique to help the students at their particular skill level.  This class is currently Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30, but these dates can move. Classes typically run quarterly, and we are asking our instructors to commit to 10-12 classes for the quarter series. The class cost has been $15 per session with 80% of the fees going to the instructor, but the fee can be discussed.
