18 Jul Two Audition Opportunities with Tipton Community Theater
Fairy Tale Courtroom
What if the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Witch got their day in Court? Who would testify? Would they be found guilty or innocent? Tipton Community Theatre will hold auditions for “Fairy Tale Courtroom” on Sunday, July 29th at 2:00pm and Monday, July 30th at 7:00pm at West Street Christian Church in Tipton. Auditioning performers will read scenes from the script; performers who cannot read yet may recite a nursery rhyme or favorite song. Approximately 30 roles are available to actors and actresses age 5 and up with casting priority given to school-age performers. Rehearsals will be on Sundays at 2:00 PM, Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, and Thursdays at 7:00 PM at West Street Christian Church beginning on August 7th.

Location: First Presbyterian Church, 200 W Jefferson Street, Tipton
Performers who are interested in auditioning should prepare 16-32 bars of an appropriate song that is not from the show, come dressed comfortably for dance auditions, and bring personal calendars to clear up any potential conflicts with schedules. Auditioning actors/actresses should provide their own sheet music; an accompanist will be provided by the directing team. Performers may be asked to sing additional material from the show. Auditions are open to ages 6 and up for this large cast show.
Performance Dates: Nov. 9, 10, 11 and 16, 17, 18.
