July 9 – September 28, Mon.-Fri. 8am – 5pm
Meyer-Najem, 11787 Lantern Road, Fishers, IN 46038

Noblesville Creates partner Meyer-Najem has transformed the second story of their beautiful new Fishers building into a bright, modern, open space, perfect for featuring the contemporary works of our local artists. With a passion for supporting the local arts community, Meyer-Najem will host art exhibits viewable to the public from 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. For the months of July – September of 2018, local artist Sharon Jiskra Brooks will be displaying a collection of works in the Meyer-Najem art space. Originally from Chicago, Sharon currently lives in the Geist area and works primarily in oil and acrylic paints. Growing up with a father who was a professional photographer, she was immersed in seeing things through his creative vision. Her paintings embrace the city life and many aspects of rural life that surround her home now. After obtaining a degree in Graphic Design from Ball State University and studying abroad in Europe, Sharon serves as the Marketing Director for international multidisciplinary design firm Selbert Perkins Design. Noblesville Creates will host a reception on Friday, July 13 from 6-9pm as part of Fishers’ Arts Crawl. Artwork work will be viewable to the public Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm through the duration of the exhibit. Many of the works will be for sale.

Noblesville Visitor’s Center, 839 Conner St., Noblesville
FREE!
Each month, Hamilton County Artists’ Association presents an exhibit featuring one of their juried members inside the Noblesville Visitors Center. For the month of August, the exhibit will showcase the artwork of Antonio Menendez.
From the Artist:
“From an eclectic approach I create paintings that exalt the diverse contours of life, representing the sublime of colorful things without overindulgence, and reconciling the inspirational interpretation with the source of its emanation. I received formal education in drawing and painting at an early age in Spain and France. But only later in my life, I returned to painting, experimenting with different painting styles, including expressionism, cubism, and impressionism. At first, I copied the old masters, such as Monet and Degas. But later I developed a more eclectic approach, including abstract painting and representing contemporary social thought, such as post-structuralism and postmodernism. Since 2005 my work has been shown in individual and collective exhibits in Central Indiana.”
