26 Nov Press Release: Local artists and entrepreneurs offer holiday sales, experiences in Downtown Noblesville
12 Days of Christmas Events feature discounts, workshops
This month marks the first anniversary of Noblesville Creates’ quest to focus on artist entrepreneurship and small business development at their new location called NobleMade, and they are celebrating by doubling down on their investment this holiday season. NobleMade, housed in the Noblesville Visitor Center on Conner Street, has proven to be a perfect outlet for art and goods made by Noblesville artisans that celebrate Noblesville’s culture and heritage. Meanwhile, the Noblesville Creates gallery space on 8th Street in Noblesville has continued to be a great venue for artists from throughout central Indiana to exhibit their work and connect with other artists and patrons. For the holiday season, the power of these two locations combines to provide unparalleled holiday shopping and art experiences on twelve days of themed discounts and workshops beginning on Small Business Saturday.
Between Noblesville Creates’ “Gifted” annual holiday marketplace exhibit called and a holiday showcase at NobleMade, over 90 local entrepreneurs are represented. During the 12 Days of Christmas promotions, the two stores will feature live demonstrations, workshops, and special events ranging from book signings and food trucks to DIY wreath and woodworking workshops. Guests can not only find deals on one-of-a-kind gifts, but they can also get hands-on and make their own gifts and decorations.
Noblesville Creates executive director Aili McGill explained that these events are designed to feature the many different types of art that are produced in Central Indiana. “Our 12 Days of Christmas event is designed to highlight the best of the best of our arts community, to get art-lovers excited about celebrating the holiday season through the arts, and to remind everyone in our region that handmade items make wonderful gifts!” McGill continued by offering, “We hope that art-lovers and experience-seekers will use our 12 Days to plan out their December shopping trips and adventures.”
Supporting local artisans supports the entire community. McGill noted that “Buying art and handmade goods from Noblesville Creates or NobleMade is a way to directly participate in the economic growth of the Nickel Plate region.” The 12 Days of Christmas promotions are a practical way both to shop for your friends and relatives as well as support local artisans and small businesses.
