In this 5-week class, Jennifer will guide you through the steps to put threads on a loom, and weave a project of either a set of 8 mug rugs (coasters) or a narrow runner. Each 2 1⁄2 hour class will have hands-on instruction, a brief lecture and time to complete the weaving.
This class is appropriate for those with no weaving experience, or for new weavers needing a complete refresher of weaving basics.
Table looms are available for rent from Tabby Tree to facilitate weaving both in studio and at home. ($50/week).
Required book, Deborah Chandler “Learning to Weave” is available through Tabby Tree.
All fiber materials are supplied in the class cost.
