23 Jul 10 Years of Noblesville Creates
Noblesville Creates celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year! A lot has happened in ten years, including some big, transformational projects alongside slow-and-steady growth. Hamilton County Tourism first incorporated Noblesville Creates, Inc. in April, 2012, with the goal of supporting, promoting and providing outstanding arts experiences in the cities and towns along the Nickel Plate railroad. Early that year, the organization offered classes and workshops, along with opportunities for artists and performers to share their work, while renovations were completed on two historic buildings on 8th street in Noblesville. In September, we celebrated the opening of our campus and our first 8 studio artists moved in. Since then, we’ve been systematically growing and expanding our programs, services, and artist network and are constantly on the lookout for new arts resources to cultivate for the benefit of all.
In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, we asked some of our members, partners and supporters to share their favorite memory or reflect on the impact Noblesville Creates has had on our community.
Our digital content specialist Mari Sandifer created this video reflecting on those first ten years:
