01 Mar Stephenson Showcase: “Natural Light” by John Cox
Born and raised in Indiana, brother John has been honing his craftsmanship for decades. Originally a sketch artist and photographer, John uses his eye for detail and passion to create beauty through the lens of his camera to build one of a kind lamps. John’s evolution from the canvas and camera to designing and making artisan lamps allows him to incorporate his love for nature, the trademark element, into each piece.
John’s use of antique hardware and gorgeous wood components brings about a perfect marriage of his two passions resulting in pieces that tell stories from the past, capture the beauty of nature today, and will inspire love long into the future.
The full “Natural Light” exhibit can be seen in the Stephenson House March 1-30, Wednesday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and during the March First Friday event from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Noblesville Creates campus.
