Step into the world of creativity with our two-hour door name plate carving Make it Take it class! Unleash your inner artist as you carve your address or favorite phrase onto a pre-made slab using the sgraffitto technique. Get ready to add a personalized touch to your doorstep while having a blast in this hands-on art experience.
Number/wording templates will not be provided. Sgraffitto is more of a drawing technique so we would recommend having a design in mind when you enter class. Your instructor will help you with your design but think bubble letters or thicker fonts and designs!
*Students will be able to choose from 4 different underglazes options during this session. A layer of clear glaze will then be applied over your chosen color.* *Work will be bisque fired after the MITI and clear glazed by the technician. Students will receive an email 2 weeks after class when work can be picked up.*
