Call for Artists: Spectrum, A LGBTQ Exhibit

Call for Artists: Spectrum, A LGBTQ Exhibit

Garfield Park Arts Center’s “Spectrum” exhibit aims to explore artwork by local artists of all ages from Indy’s LGBTQ community. This showcase intends to promote equality, inclusivity, and respect by highlighting local LGBTQ artists. Artwork showcased will aim to be reflective of individuals’ identities, stories, and experiences to achieve awareness of LGBTQ issues, especially as they relate to our Hoosier environment. Celebrate diversity through the voices of these artists, and unite as one in support of our local LGBTQ community.

Deadline to submit is by end-of-day on August 13th. Artwork for this show will be curated by a selection committee from GPAC and art experts part of the local LGBTQ community. Any artists with work that fits the theme of this exhibition are encouraged to apply.

Artists should review full exhibit overview and submission instructions on the Garfield Park Arts Center website.
