reVISION Art Exhibition

reVISION Art Exhibition

Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS) is inviting local artists to participate in reVISION, a tactile art exhibition in its third year. reVISION is an exhibition of works by artists who explore the world of art through the eyes of the visually impaired, re-examining the traditional gallery presentation as a tactile, auditory, and spatial experience.

reVISION will be held at the Indiana Interchurch Center Art Gallery in March and April of 2018. Opening night will take place on Friday, March 9th with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and exceptional art. Proceeds from the event will benefit the education and early intervention of infants and toddlers with blindness and/or low vision.

About VIPS: Since 2011 VIPS has been providing critical services for children, from birth to three years of age, throughout Indiana.

If you are an artist and would like to participate in this exhibit, please fill out the online form and send a high-resolution image of the submission to Meredith Howell, Assistant Director at mhowell@vips.org by the February 22nd deadline. Please note that VIPS asks for a 50% commission on sales for benefit proceeds.
