Benny lives in Noblesville and works largely as a contemporary acrylic painter. His diverse interest in art includes architecture, painting, and pottery making.
He became interested in mechanical drafting during high school and later finishied an associate’s degree in computer graphics. His career in manufacturing spanned over 38 years. His atwork reflects his engineering background using straight lines while adding organice touches of human spirit.
He has shown and won awards in Whitewater Valley Art Competitions and the Richmond Art Museum Annual Art Competition. He has also won Best of Show in the Great Darke County (Ohio) Fair Art competition.
Benny’s latest endeavors include paintings of local historical buildings and landscapes. He often captures moments of interest. Front porches dappled in light, a group of musicians playing outdoors, or more solitary scenes that offer quiet introspection.
