Arts For All Workshop Available

Arts for All is a three-part inclusion, diversity, equity, and access training series led by Dr. Pascal Losambe, an educator and consultant in the areas of education, organizational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and presented by the Regional Arts Partners of the Indiana Arts Commission. This training is free for arts providers in Indiana and is designed to provide organizations with workable strategies to build relationships with their community and engage underserved audiences.

Unit 1: Bias & Shared Humanity

Wednesday, January 19 at 11:30AM ET

The session will be focused on the biological impetus for bias. Participants will work to identify how their work might unintentionally perpetuate the idea of “dominant community.”

Unit 2: What does it mean to be inclusive?

Wednesday, February 2 at 11:30AM ET

Dr. Losambe will lead participants through a presentation and interactive session to help organizations understand the difference between working “with” not “for” community.

Unit 3: What does IDEA look like in practice?

Friday, February 16 at 11:30AM ET

The session will center on a panel discussion that illustrates best practices for using IDEA strategies and community engagement – how to apply learnings from the other two workshops.

This program is supported by American Rescue Plan Act funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional support provided by Arts Midwest.
