To prepare for the Challenge or to celebrate your love of comics, you can also sign up for free one-hour workshops prior to the event at Fishers Library from 6:30 to 7:30pm. You can attend these workshops even if you don’t plan to attend the Challenge.
January 8th, 6:30 to 7:30pm: “Comic Quick Tips” Taught by Erik Lundorf: “Dive head first into starting your comic. Draw with confidence and learn the tools to take you there!”
January 13th, 6:30 to 7:30pm: “How to Draw Convincing and Meaningful Worlds for Your Story.”: Sequential Art comes alive when a good story is brought to life in unique worlds. Learn how to make your comic environments convincing and meaningful.
January 15th, 6:30 to 7:30pm: “COMICS 101”: Learn the basics of comic narratives, art, and production. Taught by Victor Dandridge.
