Audition dates, times, and venue: Monday, March 10th and Tuesday, March 11th from 7 to 9 pm at the Elwood Opera House, 200 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036
Performance venue and dates: Elwood Opera House, 200 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036; April 25 – May 4, 2025.
Rehearsals: For convenience of the actors, 50% of rehearsals will take place in Carmel, with the other 50% at the Elwood Opera House.
Synopsis: Coward's tribute to theatre is set in a retirement home for actresses in the 1940’s. Residents are all former stars. Jealousies abound, especially between Lotta and another who was also married to her former husband. A tragedy brings them to their senses and a new solarium brings out everyone's good nature.
Playing ages are listed next to the characters, and are a flexible. The director would like auditionees to read from the script.
