The City of Carmel is observing National Disability Awareness Month in March and will be part of several special events. To kick off the month, the city is hosting Community Sensory Day. Event details include:

Midtown PlazaSaturday, March 210 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Free snack items courtesy of BraunAbility
- Giveaways and sensory activities
- Carmel Advisory Committee on Disability video screening at 10:45 a.m.
- Movie screening at 11 a.m. with closed captions
- Virtual Art Exhibition launches on the Midtown Screen at 1 p.m.
