Join us at Regions Tower for the inaugural ELEVATE event—an immersive experience featuring fine art, stunning rooftop views, dynamic connections, and exceptional music and food, complemented by a skyline view of our city. Connect with interesting people and appreciate and purchase art from the city's most talented and noteworthy artists from Indy's largest rooftop venue at Regions Tower.
We aim to spotlight local artists while weaving together a vibrant tapestry of communities from downtown Indianapolis and surrounding areas, using the universal language of art to connect, inspire, and bring people together.
This year’s featured artist, Vernon T. Bateman, brings both powerful talent and an extraordinary story. After enduring 27 years of wrongful conviction, his work has gained recognition locally and internationally, reaching audiences as far as Tokyo, Japan, where his children’s books are now part of English language curriculum. Despite ongoing legal challenges, Vernon continues to uplift others through his art, advocacy, and unwavering spirit.
ELEVATE also serves as a platform for impact. The event will highlight critical issues such as gun violence and the need for meaningful reform in Indiana’s parole and probation systems. Attendees will experience the debut of an original video and animated piece created by Vernon, addressing the realities of gun violence in our communities.
Other artists include Anna Afshar, Salma Talman, Randall Harden and Randy Sorrell. Deb Slack will be joining, along with Paul Bacardi Smith, Zolo, Xavier Gray and Ailithir McGill. Still more will include Natalie Smith, Tania Michelle Wineglass, Black Wolf, Lisa Macha, Brock Anthony and Dana Powell-Smith. Rounding out this talented list will be Gina Lee-Robbins, Kim Greene, Scott Osborne, Christal Peterson, Rozell ‘RJ’ Jordan and Makwolf.
