Funeral occurs at 2 p.m.
In the same way that joy and triumph bring communities together, grief and loss also create powerful moments of unity. This program takes place in Prairietown and invites guests to explore how different communities come together to honor and mourn the loss of their members of the community. Through respectful interpretation, visitors will learn about the beliefs, traditions, and practices that shaped attitudes toward illness, death, mourning, and burial.
