The City of Carmel proudly presents its first annual International Winter Festival at Civic Square, a celebration of the magic of the holiday season and the city’s Sister Cities partnerships. This sensory-friendly event offers a range of delightful activities, including a reindeer petting zoo, ornament decorating, and a stunning Christmas tree illumination. Highlights include the grand lighting of City Hall, an International Christmas Tree display, and a festive parade led by the Mayor, culminating in a vibrant procession to the Christkindlmarkt along the illuminated Monon Trail. Visitors can enjoy international carolers, live performances, and indulge in sweets and treats from around the world, making this festival a truly unique blend of holiday traditions from Carmel’s diverse community.
