The Fishers Art Center is excited to work with artist members of the National Sculpture Society (NSS) to exhibit a two person exhibition to be on view in conjunction with the NSS 91st Annual Awards Exhibition at the Indy Art Center in 2024. This exhibition will be on view in tandem with workshops, artist talks, and other community programming across the Central Indiana region. This two person exhibition will feature works by prolific sculptor and NSS member, Austen Brantley based in Detroit, MI and installation artist, Susan Tennant from Indianapolis, IN. The unique perspectives of these nationally recognized artists will be explored through their prolific works of both figurative and abstract themes. The Fishers Art Center will work to include additional programming in conjunction with this exhibition in the form of workshops, artist lectures, and/or public artistic demonstrations.
