Rain on Main: Artistry in Conservation
Rain on Main is an annual event dedicated to increasing awareness of water quality and conservation in Carmel while raising funds for local water quality education. This year, local artists have transformed 65-gallon urn-style rain barrels into one-of-a-kind pieces of functional art.
The Main Street Display
From August 14 through August 21, the barrels will be displayed throughout the Arts & Design District along Main Street. We invite the public to stroll through the district, enjoy the artwork, and vote for their favorite in our People’s Choice contest on Facebook.
The Live Auction
Looking to take one of these masterpieces home? All rain barrels will be available for auction at the Carmel Farmers Market on Saturday, August 22.
