18 Jan Second Saturday
Noblesville Creates’ Second Saturday: Women’s History Extravaganza!
March is Women's History month. Celebrate at the coolest place, the Gal's Guide Library! They will have an interactive women's history game where everyone wins, books galore, activity sheets, snacks, Golden Books, an award presentation, and even free giveaways!
Come play Gal’s Guide’s interactive history game. You will be asked to pick an image that speaks to you and then Gal’s Guide will tell you a short story of a woman of history who relates to that icon. For example, there is an electric guitar that relates to Sister Rosetta Tharpe who invented Rock n' Roll. Gal’s Guide will also showcase her book. An activity sheet with a crossword puzzle and a match activity will be available to take home.
An Awards Presentation for the best 3 entries to the Gal's Guide Anthology (releasing March 25) will be on Facebook Live during the event.
Are you interested in supporting Gal’s Guide mission? For a $500 donation to the library, you can have your very own Golden Book. Gal’s Guide will be showcasing their Golden Books on social media.
March 11th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
