Stained Glass for Beginners
Location: Maker Playground @ Fishers Parks HQ (8100 E. 106th Street, Fishers)
Ages: 12+
Cost: $99/person
During this fun and informative class, you will get your hands on glass and learn the process of creating stained glass from start to finish with Fishers Parks at their 15,000-square-foot makerspace facility, Maker Playground. You don’t need any experience, just enthusiasm, and a willingness to try something new. We supply everything you will need to create your project, and there will be several design patterns to choose from, and a selection of colored glass will be provided. We will teach you how to “cut” glass, apply the copper foil, and solder your piece together. By the end of the 3 hour class, you will have your very own creation completed and ready to take home with you.
