Wildlife Weekend

Learn about the plants and animals who call Indiana home through conversations with local wildlife partners. Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators will share stories of their animal ambassadors and rehabilitation program through a presentation at Treetop Outpost. Eagle Creek Ornithology Center Assistant Park Manager Donna Riner will lead guests on interpretive nature walks along the Trails. These events are included with daily admission ticket.

12:00 – 1:15 p.m. Q&A with Animal Ambassadors
Programs take place at Treetop Outpost

Sunday August 11: Guided Wildlife Walks with Eagle Creek Ornithology Center

10:30 – 11:15 a.m. Young Explorers Hike (geared to ages 6-11 and their caretakers)
12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Wildlife Walk (geared to ages 12+ and their caretakers)
All are welcome to participate.

Sunday, August 11: Mothing event with Indiana moth-er Jeanette Jaskula

7:30 – 9:30 p.m. presentation at Prairie House and nighttime exploration of moths.
