Yo La Tengo is an American indie rock band that was formed in 1984 and is comprised of Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley, and James McNew. Since its inception, the band has released 17 studio albums, with albums consistently charting through the 2000s.
Built to Spill was formed in 1993 by Doug Martsch, and over the years, they have toured extensively and made several albums with a rotating cast of musicians, currently featuring Teresa Esguerra on drums, and Melanie Radford on bass.
