Forte Second Saturday Showcase Series concert
March 9, 8-10pm
Logan Street Sanctuary, Inc.
$10 requested donation at the door
Every Second Saturday of the month at 8pm, we welcome diverse entertainers to the LSS stage! March’s showcase features Forte, a husband and wife team of Lea Lewis (vocals) and Steve Lewis (lead/rhythm guitar) playing an array of eclectic, classy old and new cover songs and originals. Lea Lewis had been a closet singer until she joined her husband Steve and some friends/bandmates in a tribute/fundraiser for Steve’s brother Kevin, who passed away in 2012. Shortly thereafter, the band was honored to be the opening act for Legendary Jazz performer, The Steven Weakley Band, and Forte’s full band often includes several other musicians. They’ve played at the majestic WRYC (were the only band to play for the 40th Anniversary for the WNAP Raft Race), Porchfest in 2016, and private parties. FORTE members are known as being staunch supporters of Animal Welfare. Let Forte be your forte!
