07 Jan Indiana Peony Festival Artist Callout
Indiana Peony Festival Seeking Artists for Merchandise Design Contest!
The Indiana Peony Festival (IPF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is threefold: to inspire Indiana residents statewide to celebrate the peony, the state flower, to enhance Noblesville through beautification projects, peony gardens & horticulture education, and to promote Hamilton County, Indiana as a desired visitor destination during the month of May when peonies are in bloom & when the Indianapolis 500 festivities occur.
We’re excited to bring back our merchandise design contest for our 5th annual Indiana Peony Festival! We are very passionate about celebrating this milestone anniversary. The theme or idea we would like to use this year is a celebration of our 5th year. We’ve come a long way from year one and we’d like to ask you all to help us showcase this!
We ask that the design this year represent & illustrate our brand & encompass the festival, but with a five year celebratory twist! A design that promotes our landmark event, but still shows its original roots. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and public recognition for their artwork.
We are asking for your design to be a small, three-part collection. This will be divided between a T-shirt & poster design, a hat design, and a tote bag design. All must feel cohesive, connected, and united in a series. Competition will run from December through the end of January.
