Maker Faire: VOLUNTEER CALL OUT

Maker Faire: VOLUNTEER CALL OUT

VOLUNTEER Call Out!! A community is only as strong as the people who are in it! We’ve got over 80 vendors that will be setting up their booth on the square in downtown Noblesville this Saturday, June 18th for Noblesville Creates: Maker Faire. So the say goes, “Many hands make light work,” we’re calling on any interested persons who would like to assist artists, makers, and artisans with “load-in” from 9 – 11 a.m. and/or “load-out” from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

During load-in (9 – 11 a.m.) volunteers can expect to help carry equipment and inventory to the vendor booths as an extra set of hands during the morning shift. This time slot is essential to making sure vendors and artists have all of their equipment and handmade goods set up and on display before patrons arrive to shop.

During load-out (4:30 – 6:30 p.m.) volunteers can expect to help carry inventory items and equipment back to vendor and artist’s vehicles to clear out the square for visitors and citizens to enjoy in the evening. All volunteers Must be able and willing to carefully carry 20+ lbs. of equipment, art, tables, tents, etc.

If you’re available and interested in volunteering for either time slot, please contact Aili McGill via email: amcgill@noblesvillecreates.org !
