Second Friday – Fishers Arts Council Presents A Juried Exhibit of Hamilton County Artists, sponsored by Jiffy Lube of Indiana. Reception & Awards Ceremony at the Collaboration Hub at Hamilton County Community Foundation on Friday, September 9th from 6-8p; awards ceremony begins at 7pm. Harvest Fest – Enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon outdoors at Heritage Park at White River in Fishers. LGBTQ+ Ally Meetup – Our intention for this meetup is for the member of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to have an open space for dialogue, and support. A place that protects, inspires, and empowers the young and all. Let’s work together to create an amazing meetup. – Sept. 3rd – 2 to 4pm.
Film Club – Leah Leach is our resident movie geek. With a background of working in movie theaters, video stores, and 18 years behind the camera, she’s got a knack for picking an interesting movie to talk about. And we don’t care about the first rule of Fight Club, the first rule of Film Club is: You talk about Film Club. – Sept. 15th – 5:30 to 7pm.
Book Club – Katie Harris has a knack for picking a great book! A leader (and treasured unicorn) of Gal’s Guide Book Club Katie will handpick a book that fits into our research theme for the month. Selections might be fiction, they might be nonfiction. Because of our wide reach, we’re still looking at using Zoom to meet. We are a no-pressure book club, you don’t have to read the full book to participate. You do however have to sign up. – Sept. 29th – 8 to 9pm.
Caravan Classes (92 S. 9th St., Noblesville, IN 46060)
Art Explorers for Toddler-PreK – This 30 minute session features exploration of mediums and creativity. Parents will stay with their child supporting them in their work, and clean up as needed. Siblings are welcome to observe but you are only required to pay for each child participating. – Tuesday starting Sept. 6th 11 to 11:30am.
Teen Art – This class explores a variety of mediums and focuses on building a sketchbook of work. Artists work progressively on their choice of assignments from a list along with setting their own goals and building a body of work. – Tuesday starting Sept. 6th, 4:30 to 5:30pm.
Homeschool Art – Homeschool Art classes are designed for ages 6-12 and incorporate art history, drawing, and exposure to a variety of mediums. THIS CLASS MEETS WEDNESDAYS AT 2PM STARTING SEPT 7TH. Additional group or co-op times are also available. Contact us to specifically schedule a session. – Wednesdays starting 9/7 – 2 to 3pm.
After School Art – After school class meets at 4:30 every Wednesday beginning Sept 7th. This class is designed for ages 6-12. Students will learn a variety of techniques using different mediums, completing a project most class days. Drawing and Art History are also incorporated in to the lessons of this class. – Wednesdays starting 9/17 – 4:30 to 5:30pm.
Drawing Class – Supplies are provided and students will learn a variety of drawing techniques as well as complete and work on a sketch book and final drawing projects as as well. This class is for ages 6-14 – Fridays starting 9/16 – 11 to noon.
Kiln Creations (60 North 9th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060)
Handbuilt Clay Acorn – Come and get messy with us as we build acorns! This is truly a beginner’s class, and you can create as many as you like! Add on additional acorns for just $15 and customize them to your taste. This is all in preparation for Squirrel Stampede- We will make many acorns as an offering to the squirrels! Like tall acorns? Fat acorns? Acorns with a hole for hanging? Let’s do it! Register your ticket, then add on as many extra acorns as you would like. – Sept. 2nd – 6 to 8pm.
Taylor Swift Night – Live a FEARLESS night with us. Paint something for your LOVER that’s all RED. We know Taylor is a bit of a FOLKLORE legend, but we’ll break down her REPUTATION, discuss her cats, and generally enjoy her BEAUTIFUL EYES. – Sept. 3rd – 6 to 8pm.
Stranger Things Night – So join us and paint a demogorgen, debate conspiracies theories from the 80’s, and try to crack the portal to the Upside Down! This is a special event, so everyone needs a ticket. Pay for the pottery you pick the night of. When you paint with us, your pottery takes a quick dip in a hot kiln, pick up is in one week. – Sept. 16th – 6 to 8pm.
Painting in the Park: Hydro dipped Pumpkins – Join us for our Painting In The Park series! We’re hydro dipping this week and our canvases are ceramic pumpkins! Choose two small pumpkins or one medium pumpkin! We’ll paint in Forest Park and at the end of our lesson, you’ll have a finished masterpiece ready to brighten your home or office! We’re meeting Saturday from 10-noon. – Sept. 17th, 10 to noon.

Jack & Sally Meet & Paint – The greatest love story ever told! Join us to meet and paint with Jack and Sally. We’ll have samples of Oogie Boogie and Zero along with Jack and Sally pieces for you to recreate your favorite moments from Nightmare Before Christmas! Maybe even make yourself a creepy Christmas tree! – Sept. 23 – 6 to 8pm.
Carve Your Own Pumpkin! – We are pouring clay pumpkins this year for Halloween, and you can carve your own! $45 gets you one medium sized pumpkin. He will be whole and ready for you to carve. Get fancy like our sample or go traditional with triangles! The pumpkins are made out of poured slip (clay) so they are soft and malleable- easier to carve and design than real pumpkins. The price includes your hard work at carving, painting, and firing of your piece. We will have stencils, cutting guides, and all the tools you’ll need to create a great piece! Very limited seating, so get your spot today! – Sept. 24th, 6 to 8pm.
Pumpkinpalooza – There’s no gourd we love more than a pumpkin! We are having a pumpkin party and we want to see you! Come paint with us and explore the specialty paints we offer. With your $40 ticket, you get any in stock medium sized pumpkin from $35-45 and a FREE Party Pal Pumpkin (A $12 value!!) Our goal is to paint with specialty glazes so come ready to explore! – Oct. 1, 6 to 8pm.

Tabby Tree Weaver (9832 North by Northeast Blvd., Fishers, IN 46037)
Beginning Weaving I Evenings- Are you a new (or aspiring) weaver who learns best with a teacher to help and to guide you? In this 5-week class, Jennifer will guide you through the steps to put threads on a loom, and weave a project of either a set of 8 mug rugs (coasters) or a narrow runner. Each 2 1⁄2 hour class will have hands-on instruction, a brief lecture and time to complete the weaving. – Sept. 6th – 6 to 8:30pm.
Weaving Summer & Winter – What a great structure Summer & Winter is!!!! You can make letters, pictures, patterns that look like overshot, and much more! We will explore these techniques and see how this is possible. This is a 2-day in-person weaving class. There will also be a Zoom meeting two weeks in advance to help you prepare. During the Zoom meeting you will receive drafts and other pertinent information so that you can come to class with your looms dressed. Looms must be threaded before class using patterns provided. – Sept. 10th – 10:30am to 4:00pm.
Regular Choir Rehearsal – Visit us at a rehearsal – visitors are welcome at any time. This group of women loves to sing so much that we refused to let a pandemic stop us! Auditions for “The Sound of Music” – The musical features a book by Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse, music by Richard Rodgers, and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. The show is directed by Evan Elliott, alongside a veteran team of vocal director Brenna Whitaker, choreographer Elizabeth Pike, and stage manager Fran Knapp, all of Noblesville. Among the theater’s most popular, tuneful scores, “The Sound of Music” is based on the real life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world’s best-known concert groups in the post-World War II era. Maria, a kind and curious postulant at an Austrian abbey, becomes a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children. Performances of “Rehearsal for Murder – A year following the untimely death of a famous onscreen actress and an up-and-coming Broadway star, a famous playwright (and former fiance’ of the star) assembles all those who last interacted with the actress under the pretense of reading excerpts from a new play he is writing. Even though the actress’s death was ruled a suicide, the playwright believes otherwise, and her plans to prove it to trap a killer as the scenes from his new play come to life. – The Ivy Tech Auditorium 300 N. 17th St., Noblesville, IN – 9/23 at 8:00, 9/24 at 2:00 & 8:00, 9/25 at 2:00, 9/30 at 8:00, 10/1 at 2:00 & 8:00, 10/2 at 2:00.

Noblesville Preservation Alliance
The 34th Annual Historic Home Tour – Every third Saturday in September NPA holds our annual Historic Home Tour, inviting the public to explore our neighborhoods and glimpse the beautiful interiors of our historic homes. The 35th Annual Historic Home Tour will take place on September 17th, 2022 and will feature homes in the Southwest quadrant of Old Town. We look forward to seeing you there! Tickets can be picked up (if purchased online) at the Sheriff’s Residence downtown or Seminary Park the day of the event. You will tell them your name(s) and then receive a wristband and booklet for the tour. The tour is self guided and at your own pace from 10AM to 5PM. Tickets are required for all attendees 13 years and older. This year’s tour will feature 7 beautiful homes, 3 businesses, and one very cool tree house! Further information about the homes will be published as the event nears. Also, this year we are thrilled to be collaborating with Noblesville Main Street to present a full weekend of historic preservation! Main Street will be hosting Upstairs Downtown on Friday, September 16th, allowing visitors to tour historic buildings on and around the historic square. Upstairs Downtown offers a choice of guided or self-guided tours and tickets are required for all attendees (kid’s tickets available for attendees 12 & younger). Live Radio Broadcast of “War of the Worlds” – In October of 1938, Orson Wells and the Mercury Theatre of the Air presented a broadcast that would prove to be one of the most memorable events in radio history; The War of the Worlds. While presented as a radio play, many people thought it was a real news broadcast and wide-spread panic ensued. While many people were upset when they found out the truth, this broadcast showed the power of radio at that time. On October 7th, the Noblesville Preservation Alliance will present a re-creation of that broadcast live on stage at Preservation Hall in Noblesville. A cast of 10+ people will be needed for the performance and auditions will be open to the public, beginning August 15th.
