Each month, we gather information about our Featured Partners  and their upcoming events in one spot so that it’s easy for you to see what’s coming up.  That spot is right here!

Fishers Arts Council

Second Friday – Fishers Arts Council Presents: Hamilton County Artists’ Association’s Annual Member Exhibit. Reception at the Collaboration Hub at Hamilton County Community Foundation on Friday, July 8th from 6-8p. This free reception is open to the public. Meet these talented juried artists from all over Hamilton County, enjoy their works, and partake of light refreshments and a cash wine bar. Special Musical Guest: David & Pamela Ackerman. Some artwork will be available for purchase. – Art Gallery at the Collaboration Hub 11810 Technology Dr., Fishers, IN 46038 – July 8th – 6 to 8pm.

Gal’s Guide Library (10 S. 8th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060- Judge Stone House)

Gal’s Guide Library at InConJunction – Gal’s Guide Library is venturing to the InConJunction Science Fiction Fantastic Convention! They will have a booth and programming throughout the 4th of July weekend, including discussions about Pirates and Carrie Fisher. – Indianapolis Marriott East 72-2 East 21s St., Indianapolis, IN 46219 – July 1st – 3rd.

LGBTQ+ Ally Meetup – Our intention for this meetup is for the member of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to have an open space for dialogue, and support. A place that protects, inspires, and empowers the young and all. Let’s work together to create an amazing meetup. – July 2nd – 2 to 4pm.

Stitch N’ %itch – Bring your own craft. – July 9th – 1 to 3pm.

Film Club – Leah Leach is our resident movie geek. With a background of working in movie theaters, video stores, and 18 years behind the camera, she’s got a knack for picking an interesting movie to talk about. And we don’t care about the first rule of Fight Club, the first rule of Film Club is: You talk about Film Club. – July 21st – 4:30 to 7pm.

Book Club – Katie Harris has a knack for picking a great book! A leader (and treasured unicorn) of Gal’s Guide Book Club Katie will handpick a book that fits into our research theme for the month. Selections might be fiction, they might be nonfiction. Because of our wide reach, we’re still looking at using Zoom to meet. We are a no-pressure book club, you don’t have to read the full book to participate. You do however have to sign up. – July 28th – 8 to 8pm.

Kiln Creations (60 North 9th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060)

Tie Dye Party – $40 – We are teaming up with Noblesville Parks and Rec to bring you the First Annual Tie Dye Party at Forest Park! We’re donning crisp white shirts, loading our water guns with tie dye, and going to town. – Forest Park 701 Cicero Road, Noblesville, IN 46060 – July 16th – 4 to 7pm.

Mirabel Meet and Paint – $40 – Mirabel will be joining us for a fun filled adventure! The Miracle Keeper is helping us connect for a painting day you won’t forget. We’ll paint an Casita: a house shaped luminary that we’ll finish with a light, make a butterfly pin, and snack on a treat all while singing our favorite songs.  – July 23rd – 6 to 8pm.

Hand Built Mugs – $45 – Have a lesson from our in house artist on how to handbuild mugs Use our texture profiles to add life to your creation Come back in a week to paint. – July 8th – 6 to 7:30pm.

Christmas in July Summer Camp – $40 a Day, $150 a Week – We’ll be making Holiday magic during the summer heat! Come cool off with polar bears, Santa, and penguins. Don’t Celebrate Christmas? That’s ok! We can adapt every project for your holiday! (We do not meet for 7/4, but they will all still create the same amount of projects). – July 4th to July 8th – 10am to 12pm.

Taste the Rainbow Summer Camp – $40 a Day, $150 a Week – ROYGBIV will be our mantra this week! We’ll be exploring color theory and learning the rainbow all week! – July 11th to July 15th- 10am to 12pm.

The World is Your Canvas Summer Camp – $40 a Day, $150 a Week – We paint on ceramics and canvas all the time. Let’s try rocks, fabric, wood and more! – July 18th to July 22nd- 10am to 12pm.

Enchanted Forest Summer Camp – $40 a Day, $150 a Week – There’s nothing better than the way sunlight falls through the trees in a cool forest. We’ll explore the forest of our imagination and make forest related art. – July 25th to July 29th- 10am to 12pm.

Tabby Tree Weaver (9832 North by Northeast Blvd., Fishers, IN 46037)

Teen Class! Weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom – $100 plus $20 for materials – This class is for ages 12-18 only. If you’ve ever thought weaving might be fun but weren’t sure how to get started, consider this beginning class on the rigid heddle loom. You can bring your own loom or borrow one from Tabby Tree. You’ll learn how to plan a simple project, warp the loom and weave a small table mat to take home. – July 7th – 10am to 4pm.

Teen Class! Make a Needle Felted Sloth! – $20 plus possible $21.40 in supplies – Learn how to take a ball of wool and turn it into something adorable! This time we will be making a needle felted penguin. Needle felting involves shaping the wool into figures using a special needle. Once you understand how to do it, you can sculpt just about anything out of wool! – July 21st – 1 to 3:30pm.

Teen Class! Creative Tapestry Wall Hanging- $65 plus possible supplies – Learn the basics of weaving on a simple frame loom in this class for beginners. We’ll cover loom set-up (warping), basic weaving techniques, achieving varied textures and how to finish and display your work as you create a woven wall-hanging.  – July 27th – 1 to 3pm.

White River Sound

Regular Choir Rehearsal – Vist us at a rehearsal – visitors are welcome at any time. This group of women loves to sing so much that we refused to let a pandemic stop us! We meet each week to sing together to learn new songs and perfect them for performance. – Ivy Tech Lawrence Auditorium 9301 E. 59th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46216 – July 12th July 19th July 26th- 7 to 9pm.

The Belfry Theatre

“Drinking Habits” – $17 – In this hilarious comedy, two sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancees, are hot on their trail as they go undercover as a nun and priest. Accusations, mistaken identities and romances run wild in this laugh-out-loud farce where spirits and secrets are spilled. – The Auditorium at the Annex at Ivy Tech 300 N. 17th St., Noblesville, IN 46060 – June 24th to July 3rd – 2pm matinees 8:00pm evening shows.

“Frozen Jr.” – $15 – The enchanting modern classic from Disney tells the story of true love and acceptance between sisters and princesses, Elsa and Anna, and when faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.  – The Auditorium at the Annex at Ivy Tech 300 N. 17th St., Noblesville, IN 46060 – July 29th to July 31st, 2pm matinees 7:30pm evening shows.

Noblesville Main Street

Noblesville Main Street hosts First Friday July 1st all over Downtown Noblesville and the Farmers’ Market on Saturdays from 8am to 12pm at Federal Hill Commons 175 Logan St. Noblesville, IN 46060.

Noblesville Preservation Alliance

Patriotic Party – Join us at Preservation Hall to view the annual July 4th parade, followed by games and refreshments. – Preservation Hall 1274 Logan Street, Noblesville, IN 46060 – July 4th – 2 to 5pm.

Improbable Fiction Theatre Company

Auditions for “Merry Wives of Windsor” at Indy Bard Fest – Auditions for Bard Fest are though appointment only. All actors are asked to prepare a 1-2 minute classical monologue. – Theater at the Fort 8920 Otis Ave., Indianapolis, IN 36216 – July 24th from 10am to 6pm and July 25th from 7 to 10pm.
