Color Me Happy Fiber Arts Studio
Two upcoming events at the Color Me Happy Fiber Arts Studio- 8100 ½ Connerwood Lane, Fishers, IN 46038:
Class: Double Knit Headband – If you can knit and purl, and you have done knitting in the round, you can learn double knitting! In this class with Linda you’ll make a reversible, 2 color, double-knit earwarmer and you’ll have enough yarn left to make at least one more! We will go over how to read a double knit chart, how to do a provisional cast on, and how to do a Kitchener bind off. You don’t have to know how to do two-handed stranded colorwork to do this, as both colors of yarn are held in the same hand. – Nov. 4th – 1 to 3:30 pm.
Small Business Saturday Open House: Shop local, natural gifts as we partner with Mill Run Honey for this holiday tradition. We’ll have all the usual naturally dyed yarn, fiber, scarves, and kits along with amazing local honey, natural beeswax candles, and beeswax creams and balms from Mac and Linda’s apiary. Plus we’ll have some treats and maybe even a chance to pitch in with some natural dyeing, so bring the whole family and help us celebrate the season! – Nov. 25th – 10 am to 4 pm.
Color Me Happy will also be at St. Luke’s Holiday Bazaar Nov. 11th and with a Pop-Up shop at Oma Knits on Nov. 17th and 18th.
The White River Sound Chorus will be singing 2 times in Noblesville during the Holiday Season. First, you can find them caroling on the Historic Downtown during Small Business Saturday on Nov. 25th. They will also provide music at Noblesville Creates for First Friday on Dec. 1st.

Starting Methods- Selective Start – The nature of your subject, how you intend to paint it, and how you envision the final piece can call for a variety of different starting methods. In this workshop series, I will share with you what initial stages I have used to achieve the work that I am most proud of. Each date will feature a different method. Take the whole series or choose the dates that are most intriguing to you! – Birdie Gallery – Nov. 18th – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
