16 Jul Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission honors Mary Resler
The Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission will honor the late Mary Resler on Sunday, July 22, 2018 as they officially rename the annual concert series The Mary Resler Concert Series in the Park.
The dedication ceremony will be held at Federal Hill Commons, 6:30 pm, at the start of the concert featuring the New Horizon Community Band. All are invited to attend the dedication and free concert in Mary’s honor.
Mary Resler, a dedicated NCAC board member for many years, founded the concert series 20 years ago. The concerts were held in Seminary Park until moving to Federal Hill Commons in 2017.
Supported by sponsorships, the concert series is offered to the community free of charge on Sunday evenings in July and August, and features concert, big band and popular music in an informal atmosphere. The Noblesville Lions Club offers hamburgers, brats, chips and more at very affordable prices. Families should bring a blanket or lawn chairs.
