Announcing Local Pick-Up from Griffy Art Supply

Announcing Local Pick-Up from Griffy Art Supply

Earlier this year, Griffy’s Art Supply opened in the Stutz Building in Indianapolis and immediately began supplying students at Herron, local artists, and hobbyists. At the same time, owner AJ O’Reilly also began brainstorming other ways that he could meaningfully support and enhance Central Indiana’s creative economy.  That led him into discussions with the staff at Noblesville Creates. O’Reilly has been serving as an advisor to the Noblesville Creates staff on several subjects, including professional practice, membership levels, and retail strategies.

Now, we’re excited to announce our first major collaboration: Art Supply Custom Orders and Local Pick-Up:

Local artists can submit orders to Griffy’s Art Supply and pick them up at Noblesville Creates. Click here to place an order and select Noblesville as your location!

HOW TO ORDER FROM GIFFY ART SUPPLIES:

  1. Go here: https://griffysartsupply.com/r?id=i2tlf8
  2. Click “Shop” at the top of the page
  3. Search for the products you want and add them to your cart
  4. When you’ve found everything you need, click “Check Out”
  5. Select “Pickup In Store” and then select the Noblesville Creates Campus
  6. Select your payment information and follow the prompts
  7. You’ll receive a notification when the supplies are ready – it usually takes 2-4 business days.

Don’t see what you want on the website? Don’t worry! Griffy’s has developed a custom order form for the thousands of products they can access, but don’t generally carry in stock. You can get in on the ground floor as they develop their custom order system! For now, fill out this form: (https://forms.gle/CutkmgELPQRp759p8 and AJ’s team will be in touch!

We know that artists benefit from a meaningful relationship with a supply retailer. While Griffy’s might not always be able to offer the cheapest price out there, they will be able to provide support, encouragement, and contribute to the community in ways that no big box store or big online retailer can. Supporting Griffy’s is a way to support small business, shop local, and invest in the future of our arts community. And it helps Noblesville Creates, too – Noblesville Creates gets to keep 10% of the sales of supplies and kits!
