24 May Artist Showcase: MyArt Kids
Noblesville Creates is excited to present a special one-night-only showing of artwork from local drawing school MyArt. Offering curriculum-based programs in Noblesville since 2000, MyArt is a realistic drawing school serving children, teens, and adults in drawing and fine art instruction. Programs include guided, semi-guided, and fully independent methods of art instruction designed to develop both conceptual understanding and core skills and techniques. Art classes are generally structured according to age and are conducted in a supportive, non-competitive environment.
In addition to weekly art classes, MyArt also offers art camps and workshops, painting events for adults and families, private painting parties, birthday parties, and classes for scout troops. To celebrate and show off all of the students’ hard work throughout the year, MyArt staff proudly organizes an art show in the Stephenson House gallery every spring with cookies and lemonade. For 2018, the MyArt exhibit reception will take place on Friday, June 1st from 5:30-7pm as part of Noblesville Creates’ monthly First Friday programming. Friends and family of MyArt students and local art aficionados are invited to attend this reception and welcome to stay for our full First Friday features. Festivities from 6-9pm include live music by White River Sound Chorus, our Science Art Fair exhibit in partnership with The DaVinci Pursuit, refreshments, a cash bar, and more.
