Michael Janosky: Solo Exhibit “Making Marks”

Michael Janosky: Solo Exhibit “Making Marks”

Michael Janosky is wasting no time. After participating in a two-person exhibit at the Hoosier Salon Carmel Gallery this past February, Janosky’s art will be featured in a solo exhibit at Blackford County Arts Center in Hartford City. “Making Marks” will showcase Janosky’s signature oils on canvas from April 30 – June 8th. If the long winter has you yearning to spend some quality time with nature, “Making Marks” will feel like a love song from the classic landscape. From his artist statement: “I am inspired by the colors, shapes, atmosphere, and seasonal changes I see in the local landscape and I find beauty in the subtle and simple aspects of our natural environments. Striving to remain truthful to my subject, I look to emphasize that which makes it unique and interesting.”

An opening reception for “Making Marks” will take place on Sunday, April 29th from 2 – 4pm at Blackford County Arts Center, located at 107 West Washington Street. For more information, visit the BCAC website.
