28 Apr Pendleton Artists Society to Feature Studio Artist John Reynolds
The Pendleton Artists Society will be featuring the work of Noblesville Creates Studio Artist John Reynolds during their “Spring Fling” exhibit this May. An artist with a multi-faceted creative streak, Reynolds worked for many years as an architect before transitioning to a career as a master jeweler. Not content with these two mediums, Reynolds pursued a third profession in art, concentrating his efforts into several week-long intensive workshops that helped define his “representational realism” style. Reynolds’ work is surprisingly evocative considering his loose, minimally-detailed style. Of his recent work, Reynolds says: “I seem to have an affinity for animals; it feels natural and I enjoy the painting.”
“Spring Fling” will be on display at Gallery 119 from May 4th – 30th with an opening reception on Friday, May 4th from 6-8:30pm. For more information, visit the Pendleton Artists Society’s website.
