05 May Regional Arts Partner Noblesville Creates Presents “Transition Planning for Nonprofits”
Whether due to the retirement of a long-standing board member or a key staff member’s decision to move on, at some point, your organization is going to face a major leadership change. Your preparation for that change can shift a leadership transition from an catastrophic problem to an exciting opportunity.
As the Indiana Arts Commission’s Regional Arts Partner for Region 7 (Central Indiana), Noblesville Creates is coordinating a webinar for arts and culture nonprofits, board members, staff and volunteers to help with planning and strategizing around leadership transitions.
This will be a 1-hour webinar featuring Diana Coyle, Director of Nonprofit Services and Sustainability at Central Indiana Community Foundation and Maria Kanger, Executive Director of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy, The session will be hosted by Aili McGill, Executive Director of Noblesville Creates
This session will reflect on key considerations for planning for and managing major leadership transitions at your organization. We will examine a case study of an organization that recently managed a leadership change, and guide you through some simple activities to help organize your thoughts and plans.
