08 May Studio Artists Accepted to IAC’s On-Ramp Accelerator
Ben Jennings and Eric O’Dell, two of Noblesville Creates’ resident Studio Artists, have been accepted to the Indiana Art’s Commission’s On-Ramp program. A creative accelerator designed to help artists expand their art careers and entrepreneurial skills, this program features a three-day intensive training course, a certification, and one-on-one coaching. Over 100 Hoosier artists applied for this new opportunity; the 36 chosen participants come from areas all over the state and will take advantage of the program’s benefits for free, thanks to special funding available through the IAC. Upon completion of the course, participants may apply for the On-Ramp Fellowship, which will give artists an opportunity to apply their new skills and knowledge with special funds for further career development.

Eric O’Dell
Bookmaking/Papermaking

Eric is a trained printmaker and bookmaker. Currently, he is a Nationally Certified ASL Interpreter employed by the Indiana School for the Deaf full-time. He works part-time making books and prints out of his studio at Noblesville Creates in Noblesville.
His goal is to develop a sustainable business model.
