ADDITIONAL NOTES

Although this play is primarily a comedy, it does encompass a variety of human emotions; thus, we are looking for actresses who can convey all of them, as well as maintain consistent Southern accents.  Also, as the playwright notes, these six women are witty, intelligent, and real – not caricatures.  To gain a good perspective on the various personalities, we recommend that you watch the movie; just keep in mind that the stage play is set exclusively in the beauty shop, and is devoid of male characters.  Rehearsals will begin on Sunday evening, November 26, 2017, three evenings per week including Sunday evening (except during Christmas break, 12/20/2017 – 1/2/2018), and four evenings during the week prior to opening night.  All rehearsals will begin at 7:00 PM.  Please list any and all conflicts for Sunday through Thursday nights, November 26, 2017 through January 25, 2018.  We will need this information for our rehearsal schedule!

Any questions, contact Top Fletcher @ 317-385-0489, or Margy @ 317-385-0681, or Ryan Schmitt @ 765-210-3585.
