Each month, we need the help of talented, fun-loving people like you to support all of the amazing things going on in our arts community! Here are the volunteer opportunities that are coming up this month – just fill out the form at the bottom of the post below or email us at info@noblesvillecreates.org to sign up:
NOVEMBER
- Second Saturday Activity Assistant- November 10, Noblesville Creates Campus
- Assist our Guest Experience Coordinator in facilitating this month’s activity, which is creating Thanksgiving Centerpieces
- Must be able & willing to initiate conversations, engage people & encourage adults and children to participate in making their own centerpieces
- 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 10
- This can be split into up to three shifts per day:

- 9:30 am – 12:30 p.m. (includes set-up)
- 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (includes tear-down)
- Staging Crew for ‘Gifted’ Exhibit- November 16, 17, 19 and 20, Noblesville Creates Campus
- Assist Staff in cataloging, labeling and arranging all items for our Gifted exhibit.
- This is the biggest exhibit of the year, so we have lots of details to take care of, but it’s also the most fun!
- Volunteers get first dibs on purchasing items!
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, move furniture, and work with delicate objects
- Must be comfortable with learning to use an iPad
- We could use up to 2 people on each day from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Help is most needed on Nov 16 and 17.
- Small Business Saturday Pop-Up Class Assistant- 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Nov 24th
- Assist our Pop-up class teacher with set-up, support students during the class, and assist with tear-down
- May also be needed to aid staff with sales transactions and other management of campus operations
DECEMBER:
- December First Friday Event Support- 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec 7
- Assist staff in preparing for, implementing, and cleaning up after the event
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and move furniture indoors and out
- Must be able to work with food and alcohol
- Must be comfortable utilizing iPad for sales in our sales system
- December First Friday Gift Wrapper- 5:30 -9 p.m. on Friday, Dec 7 (includes set-up)
- We’re looking for an expert Gift Wrapper to help our patrons artfully wrap the holiday gifts they buy during First Friday
- We’ll supply all the trimmings – you supply the know-how and the enthusiasm!
- Santa’s Workshops Assistant- 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 1, 8, 15 and 22
- Assist our workshop teacher with set-up, support students during the class, and assist with tear-down
- Must be able to work in an unstructured environment with children of differing ages and skill levels
- May also be needed to aid staff with sales transactions and other management of campus operations
- Late Night Shopping Event Support- 5 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec 16th
- Assist staff and artists in preparing for and implementing the party and cleaning up after the event
- Guests will rotate through art stations and be encouraged to shop in our exhibits and artist studios
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and move furniture indoors and out
- Must be able to work with food and potentially alcohol
- May be needed to assist with sales transactions and other campus operations
- The Cure for Cabin Fever drop-in art activity support:
- Assist guests who drop in to make things with us during Christmas Break
- Must be able to help facilitate projects in unstructured environments to children of differing ages and skill levels
- We need up to two people 10 am – 5 pm, Wed – Sat, Dec 26-29 and Jan 2-5
- This can be split into up to three shifts per day:
