Volunteer with us!

Looking for a way to support you local arts community?  Why not volunteer?!

Each month, we need the help of talented, fun-loving people like you to support all of the amazing things going on in our arts community!  Here are the volunteer opportunities that are coming up this month – just fill out the form at the bottom of the post below or email us at info@noblesvillecreates.org to sign up:

JUNE:

  • June 27th & 28th: Crosswalk Painting
    • We will be repainting artistic crosswalk murals at 8th& Maple streets (right next to our campus
    • This project takes place from 8:30-4:30 each day. If you are available for all or part of that time, we would love to see you and have your help – just drop by our campus!
    • You will need to be prepared to work in the sun and heat and be on your hands & knees on the asphalt.  We will provide lunch and water throughout the day. Please bring your own sunscreen.
    • It will be a very fun project and you’ll get to literally leave your mark on downtown Noblesville!
    • This project is weather dependent – if rain is forecasted, the day’s activities will likely be delayed or cancelled. Please contact us with your intent to volunteer so that we can alert you of any weather-related changes.

  • June 30th: Spark!Fishers Pop-up Art Shop at Fishers City Hall, 10 am – 7:30 pm 
    • We will be running a pop-up shop featuring the work of many local artists on the steps of Fishers City Hall. Artists are invited throughout the day to demonstrate their work and offer hands-on activities.
    • We need help setting up the shop, engaging guests & selling items, running hands-on activities, helping artists carry equipment in & out, and tear down at the end of the evening.
    • Shorter shifts could include:
      • 10 am-1:30 pm: Set up, Assist with hands-on activities & help make sure that staff get lunch breaks
      • 1:00 pm- 4:30 pm: Assist with hands-on activities
      • 4 pm – 7:30 pm: Assist with hands-on activities and tear down
      • If you are available for a different segment of time, just let us know – we can use any help you can provide!

JULY:

  • July 13th: Noblesville Creates Crawl in the Nickel Plate District in Fishers, 5-9:30 pm
    • We will be assisting with this community-wide event, in which artists and musicians are paired with businesses and people walk from location to location to see great art!
    • We need help setting up our booth, running hands-on activities, talking to guests, supporting the rest of the event and tearing down from the event.

AUGUST:

  • Aug 4th: Art Fair on the Square (Noblesville Courthouse Square), 9 am – 6 pm 
    • This fair is put on by the Hamilton County Artists’ Association.  40+ artists will be on hand to sell fine art & crafts. We will have our own booth and hands-on activities
    • We need help setting up the booth, engaging guests, running hands-on activities, and tearing down at the end of the day
    • Shorter shifts could include:
      • 9 am-12 pm: Set up, Assist with hands-on activities & help make sure that staff get lunch breaks
      • 12 pm- 3 pm: Assist with hands-on activities
      • 3 pm – 6 pm: Assist with hands-on activities and tear down
      • If you are available for a different segment of time, just let us know – we can use any help you can provide!
