The Belfry Theatre announces auditions for “9 to 5 the Musical” at the Noblesville First United Methodist Church on July 7th and July 9th starting at 7:00pm.
Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast JR” – This is a Belfry Theatre Apprentice Players summer youth production directed by Tanya Haas, at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument St., Noblesville. Presented in partnership with EnPointe Indiana Ballet. – 7/24, 7/25 & 7/26 at 7:30pm & 7/27 & 7/28 at 2:00pm.
1 Night Wheelthrowing – Join us for an evening or afternoon of wheelthrowing! Unleash your creativity and get started with a new hobby. No experience required. – July 6th, 12th, 13th, 20th, 26th, & 27th – Various Times.
Homeschool Art- Wednesdays 2pm & Fridays 11am – Homeschool Art classes are designed for ages 6-12 and incorporate art history, drawing, and exposure to a variety of mediums. Additional group or co-op times are also available. Contact us to specifically schedule a session.
After School Art – Wednesdays 4:30pm – This class is designed for ages 6-12. Students will learn a variety of techniques using different mediums, completing a project most class days. Drawing and Art History is also incorporated into the lessons of this class.
Teen Art – Wednesdays 5:30pm – This class explores a variety of mediums and focuses on building a sketchbook of work. Artists work progressively on their choice of assignments from a list along with setting their own goals and building a body of work.
Classic Academy Art – Fridays 11:00am – We will cover a variety of art concepts and cover drawing techniques and mediums.
The White River Sound Chorus hopes you will join them for their regular Tuesday night Rehearsals- Ivy Tech Lawrence Auditorium (9301 E. 59th St., Indianapolis, IN 46216), 7 to 9pm.
Hyperion Players announces auditions for “An Inspector Calls” at Preservation Hall on July 15th and July 16th starting at 7:00pm.

2nd Friday – All Our Best Art from Hamilton County Artists’ Association – Reception at the Art Gallery at City Hall on Friday, July 12th from 6-8p. This free reception is open to the public and all ages are welcome. Meet the artists, enjoy their works, and partake of light refreshments and a cash wine bar. Join us at 6:45pm for our Focus on the Artist programming lead by board member, Pat Grabill. LGBTQ+ Ally Meetup – Our intention for this meetup is for the members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to have an open space for dialogue, and support. A place that protects, inspires, and empowers the young and all. Let’s work together to create an amazing meetup. – July 6th – 2 to 4pm.
Walking Club – The starting point for the walk is the front porch of Noblesville Creates, 107 S. 8th Street, Noblesville. Bring water, suntan lotion, and rain gear. The Gal’s Guide walking club is open to all fitness levels. – July 13th – 9am.
Film Club – Leah Leach is our resident movie geek. With a background of working in movie theaters, video stores, and 18 years behind the camera, she’s got a knack for picking an interesting movie to talk about. And we don’t care about the first rule of Fight Club, the first rule of Film Club is: You talk about Film Club. – July 18th – 5:30 to 7pm.
Book Club – Katie Harris has a knack for picking a great book! A leader (and treasured unicorn) of Gal’s Guide Book Club Katie will handpick a book that fits into our research theme for the month. Selections might be fiction, they might be nonfiction. Because of our wide reach, we’re still looking at using Zoom to meet. We are a no-pressure book club, you don’t have to read the full book to participate. You do however have to sign up. – July 25th – 8 to 9pm.
Buddha Friends – A fun and joyful meetup that holds space open to check in with each other, connect with how Buddhism is arising in us, share dharma discussions, and drop into a mindful meditation together. We offer prayer requests, Buddhist holiday gatherings, book lending, and birthday celebrations. Plus we have “Om” Nom Noms which are usually cookies. – Saturdays- 11am to 12:30pm.
Special Passport Night – Now you can earn free stuff for learning about women of history from Gal’s Guide Library. Travel” with Gal’s Guide as we explore women’s history in 11 regions of the world through podcasts, books, film, and more! “Travel” with us and earn passport stickers for Gal’s Guide merch, books, and special stuff. Purchase online or at the Gal’s Guide Library. Passports are $5 each and include free passport sticker codes for all of 2024. – July 5th – 6:00 to 9:00pm.
Kids Story Hour – Come to the Gal’s Guide Library for a kid’s story time that includes a coloring page and a snack. Learn about a new woman from history each week. No registration is required. – July 11th, 18th, & 25th – 1:00 to 2pm.
Hamilton County Artists’ Association
Nature Made Art Camp – Young artists will explore nature through observation and imagination in this week-long art camp! Participants will study plants, animals, and other subjects from nature to create works of art. – July 8th through July 12th – 9:00 to 11:00am.
Toddler/Preschool Open Studio – Young artists will engage in messy art-making and sensory experiences during this 5-week program, outside of your home! Participants will study weekly themes while growing attention and fine motor skills through creation and storytelling. – Tuesday July 16th through August 13th – 9:00 to 11:00am.
Floral Fun – We will spend two studio days (9am-2pm) painting playful layers to build an abstract floral. You will learn how to explore and respond to your natural intuition and allow that to guide your creative choices. Through this process you will learn how to build depth to your work, loosen up and create works in your own unique voice. July 20th & 21st – 9:00am to 2:00pm.

ACTOTAR Night – Join us for an ACOTAR night!! We’ll sip Faerie lemonade, take a Court Placement Quiz, and munch on a charcuterie board fit for a High Lady. Bring your favorite gummy treat in a shareable size (we suggest 8 oz or more!) and we’ll mix all of our offerings together and split it! Couples’ Wheel Classes – Always wanted to recreate that scene from Ghost? We’ve got you covered! We’re having a couples’ clay class for a great couples’ price. For $85, you and your partner, friend, or that special someone you’ve always wanted to take a class with can come in and get messy in the clay with us! Our instructor will walk you through throwing on the wheel. Create a small bowl in this beginner’s class. Or not because clay is difficult. Either way, you’ll have fun! – July 7th, 13th, 14th, 21st, 26th, & 28th.
Macrame Buffet – Candy salad is an elite treat best enjoyed with friends! Bring your favorite gummy treat in a shareable size (we suggest 8 oz or more!) and we’ll mix all of our offerings together and split it! We will supply 5 lbs of our favorite treats to the mix so everyone leaves with more than what they brought! We’ll have design sheets, silkscreens and samples of our favorite fruit pieces to memorialize our candy salad escapades! Taylor Swift Trivia and Paint – Hey there, Taylor Swift fans! Get ready to be whisked away on a magical journey of music and creativity at our one-of-a-kind trivia and paint night! Join us for an evening full of singing, dancing, and endless love for the one and only Taylor Swift! Unleash your inner artist and get crafty by decorating your pottery with Taylor’s most iconic lyrics and images using silkscreens. Make a friendship bracelet for your bestie and sip on Disco Ball Punch, all while a playlist filled with all your favorite Taylor tracks rocks the house. – July 19th – 6:00 to 9:00pm.
Rollin’ with the Gnomies – We will be making these cute little gnomes. We will make them out of wet clay. They will dry for 10 days. At which time you can come back and paint them. – July 20th – 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Paint-a-thon – Paint-a-thon is a 3-hour painting event featuring miles of discontinued, overstock, seasonal, and slightly imperfect pottery. Miles might be an exaggeration, but there will be plenty for our limited available seats. – July 26th – 6:00 to 9:00pm.
90’s Trivia and Paint – Flex your 90s muscles and try out our 90s trivia! Great for Gen xers, Xinniels, Millennials, and everyone who loves Zack Morris. In addition to trivia, we will have a fan favorite voting on best costume and biggest hair. – July 27th – 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Upcoming Cultural Arts District Events-
The Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission is hosting free Vintage Films at Preservation Hall in Noblesville. Each film starts at 7:30pm and includes a live piano player and free refreshments. The Film Schedule includes: “Sea Hawk” July 20th, “Barbed Wire” August 17th, “Hoosier Schoolmaster” & “Safety Last” in September, “Phantom of the Opera” in October, and “So’s Your Old Man” in November.
