Nickel Plate Region-Wide Studio Tour Debuts July 23

Get inside 12 creative havens, presented by Noblesville Creates

NOBLESVILLE, IND. — Don’t mind the palette knives, wood shavings and varnish smudges. Artists in the Nickel Plate region are opening up their their working studios to the public during the first Nickel Plate Region-Wide Studio Tour on Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Presented by Noblesville Creates, the event is the first wide-scale tour of its kind in the community.

Participating artists and studios will have a range of artworks for sale. The tour is a great opportunity for the public to meet the people behind their new favorite sculpture, art gift, piece of furniture, painting or jewelry.

Tourists have two options to participate:

DIY Driving Tour: Pick up or print out a map indicating a suggested route to visit all of the participating studios for free. The map will be available via download at noblesvillecreates.org. Printed copies will be available at Noblesville Creates during regular business hours, and from area partners, artists and organizations throughout the Nickel Plate Region. VIP Trolley Tour: The nostalgic and comfortable IndyTrolley will drive a limited number of VIPs to up to 10 studios.   • Greg Adams – Willow Man (may set up at a location other than his studio)
  • Noblesville Creates Studio Artists
  • Hamilton County Artists’ Association
  • Logan Street Sanctuary
  • Mr. Muffins Trains in Atlanta
  • Roudebush Pottery

Summer 2016 Noblesville Creates Festival

The Nickel Plate Region-Wide Studio Tour is an extension of fourth annual Noblesville Creates Festival. The Noblesville Creates Festival shines a shared spotlight on hidden gems throughout Noblesville, Fishers, Cicero, Arcadia, Atlanta and Tipton. Bringing together a range of organizations and events under the umbrella of Noblesville Creates gives the collective group more visibility and support. Noblesville Creates works to help develop, promote and/or execute dozens of arts events.
