Hamilton County Artists’ Association – Open Lens Photography Exhibit and CompetitionVirtual Show
Virtual exhibit runs form October 2-31, 2020. Awards will be posted November 1 and winning entries will be exhibited until March 31, 2021 on the HCAA website.

The HCAA presents the Fifth Annual Open Lens Photography Exhibit and Competition. Photographers see the world in interesting ways by using their cameras to create and display artistic images. The Fifth Annual HCAA Open Lens Photography Exhibit and Competition is a judged exhibit with several prizes awarded in both color and monochrome categories. Due to Covid-19, Open Lens will be a virtual show this year.

We offer online Arts Showcase exhibits every couple of months, each with its own web page featuring creative work of all kinds! We’re excited to offer opportunities for YOU to submit your original artwork (all mediums), writings (all genres), and songs/instrumentals (videos or MP3s) to our online Arts Showcase and occasional contests.

Join us for our 6th Annual NICE presentations night! Creatives of all kinds are encouraged to create new artwork, writings, and music/songs inspired by the four selected passages and our behind-the-scenes podcast discussions. Our 2020 literary selections are: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (originally published in 1847), Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell (originally published in 1936),
Dracula by Bram Stoker (originally published in 1897), and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (originally published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869).

November 28, 1pm – 5pm
Join us for our virtual art demonstration and shopping event! 15 different artists will be demonstrating their craft, talking with you, and selling their art. Sign up online to reserve a free art kit and join our teachers for online arts classes.
