Looking for a way to support you local arts community?  Why not volunteer?!

Each month, we need the help of talented, fun-loving people like you to support all of the amazing things going on in our arts community!  Here are the volunteer opportunities that are coming up this month – just fill out the form at the bottom of the post below or email us at info@noblesvillecreates.org to sign up:

MARCH 

  • March First Friday event support – Mar 6
    • Assist staff in preparing for, implementing, and cleaning up after the event
    • Must be able to lift 25 pounds and move furniture indoors and out
    • Must be able to work with food and comfortable working around alcohol
    • Must be comfortable utilizing iPad for sales in our sales system
    • 5-9:30 p.m. on Friday, Mar 5th
  • March Second Saturday Activity Supervisor – Saturday, Mar 14th 
    • We will have an array of craft projects for families to work on together. We will have a staff member onsite, but we expect to be busy, so the more volunteers we have, the better!
    • These crafts will involve painting, drawing, cutting, collaging, gluing, hot gluing, glitter and more. 
    • This volunteer must be able & willing to initiate conversations, engage people & encourage adults and children to participate, as well as to be confident in taking creative risks and encouraging participants to be creative.
    • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Mar 14th
    • This can be split into up to three shifts per day:
      • 9:30 am – 12:30 p.m. (includes set-up)
      • 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
      • 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (includes tear-down)

APRIL 

  • APRIL First Friday event support – April 3rd
    • Assist staff in preparing for, implementing, and cleaning up after the event
    • Must be able to lift 25 pounds and move furniture indoors and out
    • Must be able to work with food and comfortable working around alcohol
    • Must be comfortable utilizing iPad for sales in our sales system
    • 5-9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd 
  • Welcome to Fairyville Craft Support – April 22-25
    • We will have an array of craft projects for families to work on together. We will have staff and artists onsite, but we expect to be busy, so the more volunteers we have, the better!
    • These crafts will involve painting, drawing, cutting, collaging, gluing, hot gluing, glitter and more. 
    • Volunteers may assist with craft projects, help with check-in and guest satisfaction, and/or support staging & clean-up
    • This volunteer must be able & willing to initiate conversations, engage people & encourage adults and children to participate, as well as to be confident in taking creative risks and encouraging participants to be creative.
    • Families will have multiple craft projects to choose from 
    • We need volunteers who can lift 25 pounds and move furniture indoors and out, although there can be opportunities for volunteers with limited physical capabilities
    • We need volunteers who can work with food and potentially alcohol
    • May be needed to assist with sales transactions and other campus operations
    • 11:30-5:30 on Wed-Fri, April 22-24, plus 5 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Apr 24, and 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25
    • Volunteers may work one or more nights
    • Shifts can be split as needed to meet your availability

COMMITTEES:

Welcome to Fairyville: We need volunteers to help us develop programing, craft project, sponsorship relationships and more for this epic event!

Maker Faire: We need a Chairperson for this amazing annual festival, as well as other volunteers to help us recruit artists, coordinate activities, stage manage performances, and more!
