18 Jul Jan Snyder
Growing up in Ohio, Jan Snyder always knew she would be an artist. Influenced by her high school art teacher who stressed realism, and educated at Herron School of Art and the Indianapolis Art Center in Indianapolis, IN, Jan strives to create paintings that evoke an emotional response in the viewer. Whether the subject matter is an animal (horses being her specialty) or a scene from her many travels, she hopes to invite the viewer into her world: a world of beauty and serenity.
As co-founder and current president of the Equine Art Guild, Jan devotes much of her time to raising awareness of equine art and promoting the careers of equine artists. Her love of the horse has lead to relationships with equine charities and foundations and she is a frequent guest artist at Hickory Hall Polo Club matches.
Jan is a Noblesville Creates paid artist member, and her Artist Showcase will be on display in August of 2018. Read more about Jan’s Artist Showcase in our full article.
