The Hamilton County 4-H Fair is a free, family-friendly event that can provide a unique experience for anyone who chooses to attend. It is held at the Silos @37 Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds & Event Center, located in the heart of Hamilton County. Purdue Extension and the Hamilton County 4-H Council have called this place home since 1950. The annual 4-H Fair is an integral community event that has grown and changed with the community around it, and still managed to keep its small-town vibe.
The 4-H Fair provides education, entertainment, and experiential learning opportunities for all visitors. This 4-H-focused fair showcases all the favorite fair experiences from animal shows to competitions to delicious food prepared right on site. Visitors can also stroll through thousands of exhibits created by local 4-H members and artisans, enjoy pop-up musical entertainment and interactive shows, visit educational stations supported by Purdue Extension, or just find a seat in the shade and enjoy the atmosphere.

The 4-H Fairgrounds is a place steeped in a rich heritage of Purdue Extension and Indiana 4-H, and volunteers and visitors alike are made to feel at home. It’s a place of comfort and community, whether you’re a long-standing visitor or a brand-new guest. Visitors are drawn from all over the state, many of them coming “home” each year for this singular event.
